Mark and I grew up in the same neighborhood, Pinehurst, and was always a trusted friend.  His parents were wonderful to me and I probably spent as much time at his house as I did my own. We shared a common interest, music, and spent many years in the band together.  I had lost touch with him and was sorry he had not attended our recent reunions.  Mark was one of my favorite childhood memories. He will be missed.
