Gary Deveary

Gary W. Deveary entered this life on March 27, 1952 in Madison, Indiana. He was the son of the late Calvin Hilton and Mary E. Harr Deveary. Gary attended Madison Consolidated High School where he obtained his GED and later attended trade school. In 1977, Gary was united in marriage to Martha J. Seegers and to this union was blessed with one daughter, Amanda. He had worked for thirty plus years as a welder and in the shipping department at Rotary Lift in Madison. Gary enjoyed fishing, flea markets, euchre, walking his dog, bowling league and antiquing. He had attended the North Madison Baptist Church and was a member of the Madison Jaycees and the Madison Moose Lodge 765. Gary had resided all his life in Jefferson County until moving to Greenwood to be closer to his daughter. Gary died on Monday, October 24, 2016, at 6:45 p.m. at the Greenwood Meadows in Greenwood, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY
Gary will be missed by his loving daughter, Dr. Amanda Deveary White and her husband Doug of Bargersville, Indiana; his granddaughter, London Elizabeth White of Bargersville, Indiana; his brother, Calvin S. Deveary and his wife Billie of The Villages, Florida; his sister, Carol Hertz and her husband, Bill of Madison, Indiana; his aunts, Wauneta Deveary of Madison, Indiana, Phyllis Harr of Madison, Indiana and Norma Jean Stodghill of Lexingon, Indiana; his nieces, Dr. Kelli Allison Hertz of Madison, Indiana, Dr. Carrie Lynn Hertz and her husband, Thomas Richardson of Santa Fe, New Mexico; his nephews, Jason Andrew Deveary and his wife, Carrie of Madison, Indiana, Josh Bryant Deveary and his wife, Lorita of Indianapolis, Indiana; his great-nephew, Sawyer Deveary; his great-nieces, Olivia Deveary and Andelyn Deveary. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Hilton Deveary, died April 11, 2002; his mother, Mary E. Harr Deveary, died February 11, 2016; his sister, Sandra Gale Deveary, died October 13, 1960.

FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 31, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., by Pastor Frank McGee at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.

VISITATION
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
