Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of ?Ruth Ann Burdine ??Ruth Ann Burdine , age 61, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on July 3, 1952 in Scottsburg, Indiana. She was the loving daughter of Clyde and Mildred I. Allen Burdine. She was raised in Jefferson County and was a 1971 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. Ruth was employed as manager of Boulder Shell in Madison for ten years. She then retired in 2010 as manager of Speedway of America in Madison for 15 years. Ruth enjoyed her grandchildren, her family, camping, and listening to music. Ruth died on Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at 5:26 PM at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. ??A LOVING FAMILY ?Ruth will be missed by her loving son, Randall Ray McCormick and his wife, Aleesha of Madison, Indiana; her loving daughter, Vonda Jo Napier of Madison, Indiana; her loving mother, Mildred I. Allen Burdine Dailey of Madison, Indiana; her brother, Charles "Chuck" Burdine of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Darrin Hardin, Alyssa McCormick, Mason McCormick, Ethan Hardin and Emilee Martin; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Burdine died, 1965; her son, Donald McCormick died in 1991; her brother, Rodger Burdine died, 1989; her sister, Vonda Whitaker, died 1991. ??FUNERAL CEREMONY ?Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 9, 2013, at 1:00 pm, by Pastor Wayne Mahoney at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Kent Cemetery in Kent, Indiana ??VISITATION ?Friends may call Sunday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM and Monday from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive Madison, Indiana. ??MEMORIAL EXPRESSIONS ?Memorial contributions may be made to the Ruth Ann Burdine Memorial Fund.
